1. About the Prize Draw

The KSUK Prize Draw is a community raffle organised by Kamma Sangham UK (“KSUK”, “we”, “us”). By entering the draw, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility

  • The draw is open to individuals aged 18 years or over.
  • Entrants must be residents of the United Kingdom.
  • Members of the KSUK committee responsible for administering the draw may not enter.

3. Skill Question Requirement

In accordance with UK gambling legislation, entry to the prize draw requires correctly answering a skill-based question. This ensures the draw operates as a lawful prize competition rather than a lottery. You may retry if your initial answer is incorrect.

4. How to Enter

  1. Visit the KSUK Prize Draw website during an active draw period.
  2. Correctly answer the skill question.
  3. Complete the entry form with your personal details.
  4. Select the number of entries you wish to purchase (up to the maximum per draw).
  5. Make payment via bank transfer using the provided reference.

Your entry will be confirmed once payment is received and verified by an administrator. Multiple entries are permitted up to the maximum allowed per draw.

5. Entry Fee & Payment

The entry fee is set per draw and displayed on the draw page. Payment must be made via bank transfer to the account details provided upon entry. You must use the unique payment reference provided — failure to do so may result in your entry not being confirmed.

6. Prize Distribution

The total prize pot is calculated from all confirmed entries and distributed as follows:

  • First Prize: 50% of the total pot
  • Second Prize: 25% of the total pot
  • KSUK Community Fund: 25% of the total pot

If fewer than two participants have confirmed entries, the full pot is awarded as a single prize. Prize amounts are rounded down to the nearest penny.

7. Winner Selection

Winners are selected using a cryptographically secure random number generator (CSPRNG) via a Wheel of Fortune at a KSUK community event. Each entry purchased corresponds to one segment on the wheel — more entries means a proportionally higher chance of winning. The second prize winner is drawn first, then excluded from the first prize draw.

8. Winner Notification

Winners will be announced at the community event and notified via the email address provided during entry. Prize money will be transferred to the winner’s bank account within 14 days of the draw.

9. Cancellation & Refunds

Entries with pending payment at the time of the draw will be automatically cancelled. Refunds for confirmed entries are at the discretion of KSUK and will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.

10. Data Protection

Personal information collected during entry is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By entering, you consent to the use of your name in winner announcements.

11. General

  • KSUK reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Entrants will be notified of material changes.
  • KSUK reserves the right to cancel or postpone a draw if circumstances require.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
